The 8 Point Facelift

What is the 8 point lift?

Also known as a "non-surgical facelift" or "liquid face lift", the 8 point lift uses the most advanced dermal filler techniques to volumise and subtly lift the face to create a rejuvenated, fresher more youthful appearance. The results obtained often negate the need to undergo a surgical facelift.

As we age we lose elasticity in the skin and gravity draws the skin downwards causing the skin the sag, making us appear older. Using high-quality dermal fillers from the Juvederm Vycross range including Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volift and Juvederm Volbella, and precise injection techniques, volume is restored creating a rejuvenated appearance. The 8 point lift offers a more complete solution compared to individual dermal filler treatments.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar molecule that is found in your skin and attracts water to provide volume and hydration. Dermal fillers are a sterile clear gel that contain hyaluronic acid which has been cross-linked to make it last longer.

How does it work?

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be used to add volume and create a subtle lift. The treatment may be carried out all in one session or divided over a number of sessions.

What can the 8 point lift treat?

The 8 point lift can be used to correct or enhance facial contours such as the cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and nose. It can also define, correct or replace lost volume in the lips and soften and correct facial wrinkles or folds such as the nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines.

Does it hurt?

The procedure is no painful and Juvederm dermal fillers contain a local anaesthetic to numb the area to make the procedure comfortable.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime and the results are immedicately visible. There may be some bruising which will settle in the nexy 7 to 10 days. Best results are visible 3 weeks after treatment.

How long do the results last?

It is common for the results of an 8 point lift to last 12 to 18 months.

Is it safe?

Dermal fillers are safe but not risk-free. Dr.Christine will discuss the risks and benefits at your consultation.
