But Profhilo doesn’t just stop at hydration. It also stimulates collagen and elastin production for up to 6 months after treatment, giving it anti-ageing benefits too.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo does not volumise or contour; instead, it is unique because it spreads evenly beneath the skin, acting as a bio-remodelling agent to hydrate from within and also stimulate collagen and elastin production.

How does Profhilo work?

Although the majority of dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, Profhilo is not a dermal filler. Containing both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid.

Profhilo is unique as it flows under the skin, hydrating, plumping out fine lines and integrating into the skin, as well as stimulating collagen production in the skin.

Profhilo is injected into the skin in a specific pattern depending on the area to be treated. Two treatments are required, 4 weeks apart. The first to stimulate, the second to ‘boost’ and ensure longevity. In some cases and depending on your initial skin quality, you may benefit from a third treatment.

Results continue to improve over the next 4-6 weeks and last for approximately 6 months or so. If you choose not to maintain the results with further treatment, your skin will return to its pre-treatment state over time.
