Loved by the A-list celebrities to get them red-carpet ready, a "non-surgical facelift" or "liquid face lift" offers the advantage of minimal downtime, reduced risk and complications, and more natural results compared to traditional surgical facelifts.
A non-surgical facelift, or 8-point lift, uses the most advanced dermal filler techniques to volumise and subtly lift the face to create a rejuvenated, fresher more youthful appearance. Dr. Christine is proud to be offering this treatment to her patients as a viable alternative to surgery.
What is a non-surgical facelift?
As we age, we lose elasticity in the skin and gravity draws the skin downwards causing the skin to sag, making us appear older. Using high-quality dermal fillers from the Juvederm Vycross range including Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volift and Juvederm Volbella, and precise injection techniques, volume is restored creating a rejuvenated appearance. The non-surgical facelift or 8 point lift offers a more complete solution compared to individual dermal filler treatments. This treatment is often combined with energy-based treatments such as EMface and RF microneedling for best results.
Key benefits of a non-surgical facelift:
Restores volume loss
Lifts and tightens the skin, improving texture and firmness when combined with EMface and RF microneedling.
Subtly enhances facial features and reduces signs of ageing for a natural and "less is more" approach.
It is generally safer than surgical treatments and requires little to no downtime.

How does a non-surgical facelift work?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar molecule that is found in your skin and attracts water to provide volume and hydration. Dermal fillers are a sterile clear gel that contain hyaluronic acid which has been cross-linked to make it last longer and usually have some local anaesthetic added too. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be used to add volume and create a subtle lift. The treatment may be carried out all in one session or divided over a number of sessions.
Who is suitable for to have a non-surgical facelift?
Dermal filler treatments are not suitable if you are pregnant or breast-feeing. A full consultation is required to check that you have no conditions that might increase the risk of unwanted side-effects, and to discuss your expectations and whether this treatment is suitable for your concerns. The procedure is not painful and dermal fillers contain a local anaesthetic to numb the area to make the procedure comfortable.
What results should you expect from a non-surgical facelift ?
It is common for the results of an 8 point lift to last 12 to 18 months. There is no downtime, and the results are immediately visible. There may be some bruising which will settle in the next 7 to 10 days. Best results are visible 3 to 4 weeks after treatment.
What can a non-surgical facelift treat?
A non-surgical facelift or 8 point lift can be used to correct or enhance facial contours such as the cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and nose. It can also define, correct or replace lost volume in the lips and soften and correct facial wrinkles or folds such as the nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines.
